Bottle Rinsing Attachments: A 3D Printing Solution

In the world of 3D printing, every project presents a unique challenge and an opportunity to innovate. One such project was commissioned by Pleasant Land Distillery, a distillery in need of custom attachments for their bottle rinsing machines.

The distillery’s machines came with attachments designed for specific bottles. However, as their customer base expanded and diversified, so did the variety of bottles they used. The need for a versatile solution that could accommodate different bottles became apparent.

Pleasant Land Distillery approached us with this challenge, seeking a cost-effective and time-efficient solution. The alternative was to request new attachments for each bottle type from the machine manufacturer located abroad, a process that would be both time-consuming and expensive.

Armed with the original part for reference and a selection of the new bottles, we set out to design and create these custom attachments. Our goal was not only to make the attachments fit every new bottle but also to enhance the efficiency of the bottle changing process.

Our solution was a set of attachments designed to lock in place with a simple twist, eliminating the need for screwing and unscrewing each time a new bottle type was introduced. This design significantly reduced the time spent on changing attachments, thereby streamlining the manufacturing process at Pleasant Land Distillery.

This project stands as a testament to the power of 3D printing in providing bespoke solutions that are both cost-effective and time-efficient. It underscores our commitment to understanding our clients’ needs and delivering innovative solutions that drive their success.

Scale-Model: Recycling Sorting Plant

This 3D printed 1:40 scale model was created exclusively for our client, Tehnimarket. This model showcases the accuracy and realism that SG 3D Printing brings to every project.

Designed with attention to detail, our scale model captures the essence of the recycling sorting plant, highlighting its architectural features and operational components. From conveyor belts to sorting machines, each element is replicated to provide an immersive visual representation.

This model serves as a tool for Tehnimarket, allowing them to showcase their product to potential investors, partners, and stakeholders. It provides a tangible representation of their innovative recycling processes and reinforces their commitment to sustainability.

Reviving History:

A 3D Printed Replica for The Biddenden Consolidated Charity

In the heart of Biddenden, a historic tradition thrives thanks to the Biddenden Consolidated Charity. Each year, a unique biscuit mould, crafted in the 1800s and depicting the Biddenden twins, is used to shape biscuits distributed among locals. However, this wooden mould had deteriorated over time, losing its once-sharp details and endangering the continuity of this cherished tradition.

To safeguard this piece of history, the charity commissioned us to create a replica of the original mould. Their aim was to also restore the intricate lost details. To achieve this, we’ve used 3D sculpting to create a digital version of the mould and 3D printing to create the tangible final product.

The process began by capturing the original design, including the faded details. This digital recreation served as the blueprint for 3D printing. Two techniques were employed: Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) for the mould’s body, ensuring sturdiness, and Masked Stereolithography (MSLA) resin 3D printing for the intricate markings. MSLA’s precision and high resolution were ideal for capturing the original mould’s fine details.

The outcome? A perfect replica of the Biddenden twins biscuit mould, mirroring its shape and size while resurrecting the lost detailes. This project stands as a testament to how modern technology can help preserve historic artefacts and traditions.

In summary, the Biddenden Consolidated Charity’s 3D printing initiative showcased the remarkable potential of this technology.

3D Sculpting

Discover the power of transforming imagination into reality with our 3D sculpting service.

We collaborated closely with the artist to transform their vision into tangible, three-dimensional sculptures.

Once the sculpting process was complete, we 3D printed the model in two separate parts. This allowed the artist to easily paint the different structures and have a physical representation of their vision.

If you are looking to bring your imagination to life, our service offers the opportunity to transform your art. Contact us today to discuss how we can create a 3D representation of your work.

Custom Request

Introducing our custom product – a personalised award designed to celebrate a remarkable achievement. Commissioned by a client honouring their partner who recently attained their doctorate, this award is truly one-of-a-kind. Part of their work involved developing techniques to align MRI brain slices across time and across patients to identify variations. We worked closely with the client to develop a truly personalised trophy.

We integrated a provided 3D model of the recipient’s own brain into this award, which we then sliced to resemble MRI scans. If you look from the side, you can see the individual slices, whereas changing your perspective highlights a 3D volume of the brain where the slices blend seamlessly to provide depth. This unique touch serves as a reminder and celebration of their dedication and their groundbreaking work.

We take immense pride in bringing our clients’ visions to life, creating custom products that capture the essence of their unique stories. Whether it’s a personalised award, a commemorative gift, or a bespoke creation, we strive to deliver excellence and ensure that every piece is a masterpiece.
